The R4D Institute is a growing research, training, and policy advocacy consulting firm in Ghana. Our core focus is generating rigorous and credible evidence of what works, what does not work, and why in economic and social development in sub-Saharan Africa.
Our goal is to make positive impact through applied research, training and advocacy by engaging all relevant actors to co-create knowledge that is implementable for accelerating multidimensionally sustainable growth and poverty reduction.
Our approach is bringing multi- and interdisciplinary perspectives strongly to the impact evaluation landscape not only for a deeper understanding of development issues, but also to identify why programs and projects achieve desired impacts or not.
Our experience in and emphasis on evidence co-creation in association with public and private sector institutions and civil society not only deepens understanding of development issues but also enhances research uptake and policy influence.
